Northtowns Medical Group has a policy to charge a $50 fee if you fail to show up for a scheduled appointment. This applies to both missed appointments and any appointments cancelled with less than 24 hour notice. This fee is not covered by your insurance company. Future visits may not be scheduled if missed appointment fees are unpaid. In addition, it is the patient's responsibility to know the appointments they have scheduled. Northtowns Medical Group does send messages to the patient portal to remind patients of upcoming appointments.
